Abstract

Looks at the problems relating to social work undertaken after the Hillsborough football stadium disaster in 1989. Investigates the organisational and role stresses such work engenders, such as problems with recruitment, transitions from job to job, and lack of support from both management and colleagues. Findings are based on preliminary interviews with social work teams.
