Abstract
The new media scene in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya faces many challenges in nurturing quality journalism. Political polarization has created an environment where journalists take sides and integrity is relegated. Nonetheless, the window of opportunity remains open to those journalists aiming for greater professionalism.
