Abstract
Everyone’s heard of the Butterfly Effect. But for scientists working on climate change prediction, the Butterfly Effect is a solved problem. Now, there is a new challenge to contend with: the Hawkmoth Effect. This poster discusses some of the difficulties posed by the Hawkmoth Effect and proposes some partial solutions. A similar poster was shown at the AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco in December 2013.
