Abstract

This research was supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant # SES – 0080316 to the first two authors. The analysis was carried out at the Center for Economic Studies (CES), U.S. Bureau of the Census Washington D.C. under the project title, ‘Evaluation of new service firm entries in the SSEL and analysis of regional differences in their entry rates’, working paper, CES-WP 03–05, February, 01, 2004.
