Abstract

Presents the findings of research into the amount of judicial review challenges to local government in England and Wales. Outlines the data and methods employed and presents a general overview of the levels of litigation. Comments on various tables represented, included those relating to the subject matter of challenges, challenges and deprivation, deprivation and lawyers, challenges and lawyers, and the distribution of applications between types of local authority.
