Abstract
The article offers information on the shortcomings faced by the Inter-American Court in the area of women's rights in the U.S. It states that the quick evident cause of the problem is the male-prevailed compositions of the Court and the Inter-American Commission, the problem shows to be a multifactorial one that cannot be treated by just adding women to the system. It suggests that the systems needs a multifactorial approach including gender-aware Judges, litigants and lawmakers of both sexes.
