Abstract

The article focuses on comparative consumer bankruptcy law and compares bankruptcy laws in Ireland and Great Britain. Topics include globalization in consumer bankruptcy law reform, national social welfare systems, and consumer credit regulatory regimes. Information is provided on the issue of over-indebtedness and personal insolvency laws.
