Abstract

With most Pakistani labourers finding low or semi-skilled work in the Gulf, the largest market for migrant workers, Themrise Khan (Independent Consultant, Pakistan) explains why Pakistan’s legislative framework remains inadequate for migrant workers after nearly 40 years.
