Abstract

A normative evaluation of the impact of colonialism and Western medicine on Kenyan health, using colonial administration documents and secondary literature to highlight the underlying motives of Western medical expansion, colonial introduction of disease, and the lingering legacies of profit and power in contemporary Kenyan health care systems.
