Abstract

This picture was taken in a backalley amidst the busy market of Capo in the Sicilian town of Palermo. This image captures the clean freshly laundered linens being let out to dry in the sun as the streets below witness crowds mingle. A woman watches the busy streets below her fill up with the weekend crowds in the market while the background houses rows of fresh linen somehow blurring where one apartment ends and the other one starts.
