Abstract

If sexual violence in conflict is restrictively a weapon of war, who are the unaccounted inglorious offenders? This paper rejects the duality of ‘war’ and ‘peace’ to propose a revised framework that allows a more holistic yet nuance understanding of sexual violence in conflict without perpetuating gendered and colonial knowledge.
