Abstract

A war veteran poses for the camera at a commemoration. During the seconds preceding this shot, he could be seen re-adjusting his posture and facial expression in a comical manner. In the end, a determined gaze looks directly into the camera, delivering the "manliness" and resolve presumed from him.
