Abstract
Child vs Book explores the way in which children begin to make meaning from the symbols on the page in front of them, in the context of their environment. Bobby, Sajid and Ismaael are pupils at Poplar’s Woolmore Primary School. (Winner of the LSE Research Festival 2014 Film prize)
