Abstract

Professor Robert Wade and Dr Jakob Vestergaard critique President Trump’s second-term administration for consolidating personal power, undermining democratic institutions, and using government authority for retribution and control—both domestically and abroad—while pursuing an authoritarian agenda that threatens U.S. democracy and stability.
