Abstract

In this collection of 13 papers, contributors describe their work in a variety of fields within the discipline of knowledge management in such topics as its use in science and technology, in making knowledge visible, in personalizing delivery systems, within organizations, through market mechanisms, beyond the transaction perspective for software artifacts, measured as a consequence of ubiquitous computing in networked organizations, in creating competitive capabilities, in the design of organizations around knowledge flows, in project team knowledge integration and in the design and motivation of models of distribution.
