Abstract

Models and tests the alternative explanations of income determination in participatory and labor-managed firms with reference to Yugoslavia. Findings provide support for the linking of worker incomes to output prices, the interest rate, industrial structure, productive efficiency, and minimum efficient scale. Wide income differentials are a serious problem for labor-management economies
