Abstract

Mona Prince’s memoir recalls her journey as a hesitant revolutionary through the eighteen days of the Egyptian uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak in 2011. William Eichler recommends this book to anyone who wishes to understand the Arab Spring and the challenges that many in the Middle East face when it comes to democratisation.
