Abstract

It is less than a month until the Scottish independence referendum on 18 September. Emran Mian writes that while a ‘No’ vote looks increasingly likely, it would not necessarily represent a final victory over Scottish nationalism. Instead, much would still be up for debate, and the prospect of Alex Salmond having the last laugh is not unthinkable.
