Abstract

The UK’s EU referendum is taking place alongside the European Championships in France, with arguably many British citizens just as interested in the football as they are in the referendum result. Nauro F Campos writes on the lessons for the referendum campaign that can be taken from England’s performances in major tournaments since they last won the World Cup in 1966.
