Abstract

The reform and opening up in China provides an opportunity for the renewal of scholarship on European Union law. This article is based on the premise that we should care about the role of the EU in the world. It argues that in studies of EU law we need to give due attention to relations between sites of governance, instead of taking the EU as the starting point and even the end point. It aims to chart new directions in study and research on EU law.
