The article deals with the transformation of the Left critique of neoliberal capitalism from explicit opposition to acceptance of its basic tenets. The author notes that neoliberal ideology has created its own forms of political participation and activism, which permeates across social classes, religious and cultural affiliations and political prejudices. The evolution of neoliberalism and its impact on capitalism, developmental activities and political praxis are discussed.
