Kerr (Westminster Officer for Northern Ireland's Ulster Unionist Party-UUP) dissects the failed 2005 UUP campaign of David Trimble. Relying on his own daily campaign journal and interviews with key players, he describes the UUP's campaign activities and analyzes Trimble's role in forging and implementing the Belfast Agreement and Trimble's relationship with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
