Abstract

Fratelli d’Italia’s victory in Italy’s general election has been portrayed by some observers as a potential threat to Italian democracy. But little is known about the views of the party’s supporters concerning Italy’s political system. Presenting evidence from an original survey, Lisa Zanotti and Carlos Meléndez examine how the political attitudes of supporters of Fratelli d’Italia compare to those of other Italian parties.
