Abstract

Women’s magazines started to profile keyworkers during the pandemic. Shani Orgad (LSE) and Catherine Rottenberg (University of Nottingham) examine how these workers were depicted and the brief opportunity that the crisis afforded to call for ‘care justice’, rather than simply gratitude.
