Abstract

This study explores a web of topics that arguably construct the identity-fueled paradigm of modern politics. Employing quantitative methods, the investigation attempts to interpret the philosophical origins of identity and trust between strangers in order to build social capital, asking how do we trust, and can we generate trust?
