Abstract

My research investigates the socioeconomic dilemma currently faced by Singapore, analysing historical trends of growth and inequality; and associated levels of societal wellbeing in terms of health and social outcomes. It finds Singapore’s robust growth to be accompanied by significant inequality and incommensurately low wellbeing levels vis-à-vis other countries.
