Abstract
With Brexit approaching and the countdown to the European elections underway, the Aachen Treaty between France and Germany is a reflection of the EU’s battle to remain strong in an increasing Eurosceptic and nationalist Europe. But will these measures suffice to rebuild trust and unity within the EU?
