Abstract

The following is an informal and condensed version of the paper presented at the 1973 Mathematical Programming Symposium in Stanford. At that symposium the title was EXPERIMENTS IN THE FORMULATION OF INTEGER PROGRAMMING PROBLEMS. That paper has been more fully written up under that title and can be obtained from the author on request. All references are given there.
